New Lower Group Rates Starting Jan. 1st, 2010!: See below for more details! I've never played paintball before! Common Questions & Answers:
What should I wear? Wear old clothes, most paintballs do not stain but you will get dirty. We recommend long pants and sleeves, soccer cleats are the best footwear, tennis shoes or boots will work, a toboggan or a baseball cap turned around backwards is best for protecting the top of your head. The safety mask will cover and protect your face. Does it hurt? Yes, it stings a little bit. It can leave a small bruise and even break the skin if you are wearing thin clothing. The thicker the clothes you wear the less it hurts. Most people wear blue jeans and a long sleeve shirt. Getting hit by a paintball hurts a lot less than getting hit by a softball or baseball but if you just don't take pain well at all then you can even wear gloves, elbow pads, knee pads, chest protectors and neck protectors for added protection (We do not have these items for rent, but we do have them for sell). If it hurts, is it safe for me or my child to play? Yes, it is very safe, as long as everyone follows the safety rules. The most obvious danger to paintball is getting shot in the eye, but if everyone follows the safety rules, the chance of this happening is very small. The most common dangers you have to worry about are tripping over your own feet or running into something. How many paintballs will I shoot and How long will they last? On an average day of play most players shoot between 500 - 1,000 paintballs and play for 2 to 3 hours. Games last about 10 - 15 minutes on average. How many paintballs you shoot in a game depends on how long you are in the game and how many you ration yourself and take onto the field for the game. Once you have been shot you are out of that game and must exit the field until the next game. If you have a large group you may only play with that group for the day but if you come with a small group we will put you with some other players to play with and sometimes we will get two big groups together on one of the larger felds for a big game, which can be a lot of fun. Every group will be supervised by a referee and no one is allowed to play without a ref at any time. If you have any questions feel free to shoot us an email or give us a call. Let Us Know:

CHF Paintball, Est. 1998, is a Paintball Park designed with the player in mind. We cater to both the first time player and the experienced tournament player. We allow you, the player, to decide: when you want to play, where you want to play, and who you want to play with. Our referees are there only to make sure the safety rules are followed, and that everyone has a good experience. You choose the type of game you want to play and our referees will ref it. Our goal is to provide paintball players of the Mid-South with an affordable place to play while at the same time progressing the sport of paintball. We sell our paintballs cheap and even allow you to bring your own. As paintball players ourselves, we know how expensive paintball can be. We also know what it's like to want to play every weekend. Jan. 2nd, 2011 for Christmas Break Six Courses: The Woods, Ambush, Bunker Hill, Old Speedball, a Hyperball Field, and a PSP X-Ball Field
Ambush:
Our most popular scenario field. This large 3.5 acre wooded course has two opposing forts. In between are bunkers made out of pallets, tractor tires and 55 gallon barrels. Teams must strategize a way to take over the oposing teams fort without letting the other team take over theirs.
The Woods:
A large 4 acre wooded course with natural bunkers in the form of ravines and ditches as well as some man made pallets and tree piles for cover. This is the perfect place to hide and work on your stealth and sniper skills. Work together with your team to cover the large playing field and find and capture the other teams flag.
Bunker Hill:
This is a wooded course on the side of a hill. One team starts out on the top of the hill and the other starts out at the bottom. There are building structures on the course with windows and doors that you must clear of the opposing team. Action is fast on this 1.5 acre course.
Old Speedball:
The name says it all, this field is all about speed, this is a 2 acre course in an open field made out of 55 gallon metal barrels and spools. This was how Old School Speedball got its start before the invention of air filled bunkers. A center flag is how this field is played. Be the first to get the flag in the center of the field and touch the other teams break out box to win the game. Being able to see where everyone is does not make it necessarily easier, because if you can see them they can probably see you.
Hyperball:
This is the smallest of the courses at the park. This is the perfect place to play 3 v 3, 2 v 2 or 1 on 1 grudge matches. Completly surrounded by safety netting so spectators can see all the action. There is no need for a flag on this field just eliminate the other team before they get you!
X-Ball:
is the most popular tournament format in professional paintball today. Teams from all over the country and even some international teams come together several times a year for large events held by the PSP to see who really is the best at the game. The biggest tournament every year is the World Cup held in Orlando, FL. You can find most of the tournament teams from the Mid-South that call CHF their home, practicing on this field on Sunday Afternoons. If you have never seen the fast paced action that X-Ball brings to the game then you should stop by the park on a Sunday and see what it is all about. One of the most distinct parts of this format is that side line coaching and spectator interaction are not only allowed but encouraged.
